LOOKING FOR SOMETHING?

Non-union security personnel at JFK picketed for their rights on Wednesday. They are saying that they are underpaid and poorly trained. Security is the eyes and the ears for the entire airportand people need to understand and appreciate their position. They are paid $8 an hour for their position, to stand at these alarm doors, and that time is soon over for them.

Workers at JFK Airport Picketed for their Rights image Transportation and security rushed

To get to work most security guards are transported in reliable airport transportation services , as it can be too expensive for them pay for their own car or better yet gas. Security is also claiming that once a plane lands, security checkers with Global Elite are being rushed to do their job and argue the point: if a terrorist leaves something there in less than five minutes the blame is put on them and news spreads they didn’t do a thorough job. Claims filed with the Transportation Security Administration in September have gone unanswered and workers are getting disgruntled, taking action into their own hands.

Safer to take transportation services to airport Safer to car services to JFK photo

32BJ is the union, which organized the protest after the complaints were filed with the TSA. They’re supposed to be checked for anything that’s on the plane before it takes off again but security is always being rushed and transported by  airport shuttles service from one spot to the next at times. The New York State Senate Transportation Committee is also investigating. It is safe for travelers to take limousine or car services to the airport but what happens when they are actually in the airport? It takes only one error for a catastrophe and security is suppose to be there to make sure that that catastrophe doesn’t happen.
